Everyone is once again glued to their televisions this week as we await to see who will win the 2017 series of Britain’s Got Talent. And who could forget that spine tingling moment in 2007 when Port Talbot’s Paul Potts became the coveted talent show’s first winner with his unforgettable performance of Puccini’s Nessun Dorma.

The clip of that audition is one of the all-time most watched videos on YouTube with over 162 million views and following his success on the show, Paul was honoured to sing for the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance and went on to tour the globe several times. His debut album, One Chance, reached number around the world, earning Paul a total of 15 platinum albums.

The Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland is both honoured and delighted to be welcoming Paul Potts, to headline their annual autumn charity concert at the Follies Theatre, Folly Farm.

The Folly Farm concert will take place on Saturday, November 4, and the club is delighted that Paul will be supported by Whitland and District Male Choir. Plans are being made for Paul and the choir to sing collaborative pieces.

President of the Rotary Club Mary Adams said: “The club is absolutely thrilled to be welcoming Paul to Pembrokeshire. On November 9, Paul will be leaving for a 22 date tour of Germany and Denmark, and we are delighted and very grateful that Paul has found time in his very busy schedule for our charity concert. I’m sure that Paul will receive a very warm Pembrokeshire welcome.”
