James spent the whole evening with the club demonstrating and coaching the Pembroke club swimmers. All the swimmers got a great buzz looking and holding James's gold medals from the many World, European and Commonwealth championships he has won.
Halfway through the evening, James held a question and answer session so all the team could have their equipment autographed and ask him questions.
Pembroke swimming club also opened up one hour of the session to the Leisure Centre learn-to-swim programme swimmers.
Chevron refinery helped to sponsor this event which all in the club felt was of great benefit to the swimmers. The coaches and teachers have been hard at work since the visit putting into practice many of the points James said to work on.
