Thanks to the generous help of welder Brinley Richards, Rotarians have completed the latest stage of the disabled shelter at Whitland Rugby Club.

Structural engineer Rotarian Hugh Tribe designed the steel structure which will hold the frames and glass in the next stage.

"We are grateful to Carl Howells, of Marros, for the steel and to Brinley for giving his time," said project leader, Rotarian Ken Morgan. "The project is moving ahead and we look forward to an early completion."

President Ted Davies echoed Ken's thanks.

"I am overwhelmed by the generosity of both companies and individuals," he said. "This is a worthy project and everyone associated with it can feel very proud. Whilst the Rotary Club has received more generous contributions, there is still a shortfall to purchase glass, concrete and steel mesh which will complete the project," said Ted. "If you would like to help with donations of materials or cash, please get in touch with Rotarian Ken."
