WHITLAND Classic Motor Club meetings are held on the last Thursday of the month at Whitland RFC in King Edward Street, starting at 8pm.

Following the November meeting, Bevis Musk gave a talk on his “accidental career in Motorsport”. It proved to be a very interesting and entertaining talk with lots of stories about his career. Having started his academic studies in agriculture his interests in “all things” related to cars and in particular motorsport took over. He told many stories about his experiences in vintage and classic car racing, World Rally cars, British Touring cars, Le Mans and Formula 1.

Amongst other career achievements, Bevis set up his own motorsport company and explained how the cars and technologies developed. Two hours was nowhere near enough time to try and include all of Bevis’ career. Everyone was amazed at how much he had managed to achieve and thoroughly enjoyed an entertaining talk.
