A painting of a seagull by an artist from Narberth, has been shortlisted in a national competition.
Austen Pinkerton’s work of art in acrylic, which was painted this year, has been selected in the National Open Art (NOA) competition.
“The painting is on the NOA web site and is open for the public vote,” says Austen. “It will now go to Chichester for the next round of judging and if successful it will go on the exhibition tour, which starts at the Mercer Hall in London in October through to November. The prize winning works end up at Chichester’s Pallant Gallery and Arundel Castle.”
You can vote for Austen’s painting, Seagull, at http://www.nationalopenart.org/gallery2.php?as=1&SEAGULL-17110
