The Woodridge Inn, in Wooden has recently been bought by Lok and Jenny Cheung from Dragon Palace, just down the road. They bring with them years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality business and have lots of exciting changes in 2020 and would like this opportunity to introduce their new Executive Chef, Cheryl Badham who also brings with her lots of new ideas.
Cheryl Badham’s AutoBiography
Born and raised in Saundersfoot I have been a chef for the last 15 years. I had my first professional experience working in the Mulberry restaurant in Saundersfoot where I worked my way up to the position of sous chef, a position I have held for near a decade.
I have a passion for all things local and I try to source all my ingredients within Pembrokeshire. We have such a beautiful county which we live in and the produce that comes from within is something that should be cherished.
I am a family orientated person so working as the Head Chef for the Woodridge Hotel is something that relates to me. The owners are family focused and I believe their future aspirations are intertwined with my own personal goals and ambitions.
Working as executive chef will allow me to fully realise different techniques and dishes that I wish to offer to the general public. I am excited with the opportunity that has been afforded to me and I believe that the future will be bright for the Woodridge Hotel.
I cannot wait to showcase my culinary skills at this new level and invite everyone to come try the food that I am now serving here in Lok and Jenny’s new establishment. We look forward to seeing you all, Cheryl, Lok and Jenny.
