A woman from Pembroke Dock who stole food and groceries from a supermarket, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft when she appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates this week.
Twenty-four-year-old Laura Louise Hudson, of Coronation School, admitting stealing £84.28 worth of goods from the Asda store in Pembroke Dock, last month, when she appeared in court on Tuesday.
Prosecutor David Weale told magistrates that staff in the store saw the defendant acting suspiciously, and when she reached the till with her trolley and packed the items, she explained that she couldn't pay for the goods.
On leaving the store, Ms Hudson took some of the bags from her trolley without paying and the police were contacted.
Her solicitor, Mr. Matthew Greenish, asked magistrates if the case could be adjourned until May 28, as Ms Hudson was due to appear in court then on another shoplifting charge.
The defendant, who is already on a community order, was released on unconditional bail.
