A 78-year-old woman who collapsed near The Esplanade, Tenby, shortly before 3.30 pm on Friday, was taken to hospital by ambulance after being assisted by paramedics and Tenby and Manorbier Coastguard Rescue Teams, South Pembs. sector manager and Tenby South Beach RNLI lifeguards.
The lady was holidaying in the area from High Wycombe and suffered a heart attack whilst on the concrete ramp approaches to the South Beach.
A member of the public called 999 requesting an ambulance and coastguard assistance was requested.
