School meals in Pembrokeshire get a make-over from next month.
A special winter menu will be on offer to primary school children from Monday, November 5.
More traditional, home-baked warming food will be served up at school lunches reflecting the colder weather at this time of year.
These will include tasty dishes such as lamb moussaka, roast chicken and crunchy vegetable crumble.
Clr. Islwyn Howells, cabinet member for children and young people, said the school meal service aimed to source products from local suppliers wherever possible and the new menu saw a further increase in locally produced food.
"All our school meals are freshly prepared daily and are nutritionally balanced to ensure that they abide by the Welsh Assembly Government's Appetite for Life standards," he said.
The new menu will be on offer until May 2 next year.
