Police in Tenby are appealing for the co-operation of motorists for tomorrow's (Saturday's) Winter Carnival.

Officers are asking local residents and carnival-goers not to park along the route of the parade, particularly South Parade, St. Florence Parade, Lower Frog Street, St. George Street, Tudor Square and High Street.

Organised by the town's Chamber of Trade and Tourism, the carnival, which starts from Butts Field at 6 pm, will make its way along the Norton and into White Lion Street, where the fancy dressed walkers will join the procession, before continuing along South Parade, St. Florence Parade through Imperial Arch into Lower Frog Street, St. George Street, Tudor Square, High Street and back to Butts Field.

The parade will stop in High Street for the all-important results to be announced in Tudor Square.

The fun will continue after the carnival parade with a family disco at the De Valence.
