May we through your letters page remind everyone of the date of the Winter Carnival.
It will take place on Saturday December 7.
The float categories are:
1.Charity or Organisation
2.Business
3.School or College
4.Private
The winners of each float category will receive £50.
The winner of the best float overall will receive £100
The Fancy Dress Walking Categories are: Under 8; eight - 14 years; over 14 including adult; Best Pair; Best Group.
For those in business in town unable to join the carnival parade there will be the Shop Window Competition with the Christmas Theme and a Staff Fancy Dress competition
The winners of the Fancy Dress and Shop competitions will receive £25.
Would all trophy winners from last year please return them to Rembrandt Jewellers, Tudor Square as soon as possible. Many thanks.
