May I once again through the medium of your columns thank all those who gave such generous support to the RAFA Tenby Wings Appeal 2002. In particular, may I commend the efforts of our Narberth colleagues who raised a goodly part of the street collections.
This year we dedicated the collection to the late Colin Hill who in the past was the prime mover in our Wings Appeal.
Details are as follows: Street collections £1042.38; coffee mornings £248.10; Tenby and Whitland ATC £260.82; home collecting boxes £134.66; local promises £21.56; rugby ground bucket collection £70.30; donations to the memory of Colin Hill £400; donations to the memory of Betty King £318 - all making a grand total of £2,515.82.
May I also express appreciation to the Tenby public house landlords for permission to collect on their premises.
All in all an excellent effort. Thanks once again.
