A windsurfer got into trouble in windy conditions and very choppy seas off Monkstone Point shortly after 11.15 am on Tuesday.

Tenby's inshore lifeboat was tasked to the incident and when the crew arrived on scene, they spotted the windsurfer getting back onto his board and heading for Amroth.

The ILB escorted him back to shore and made sure he was unharmed.
