William McNamara, CEO of Bluestone National Park Resort in Pembrokeshire, has reached the South Pole after trekking unaided for the past two weeks.

As part of a charity raising and personal challenge, William reached the Pole on Sunday and remained there to mark the 100th anniversary of Captain Robert Scott and his team reaching the South Pole on his ill-fated expedition on January 17, 1912.

William began his trek on January 9 after setting off from the UK on New Year's Day.
