The Pembrokeshire Marine Code and The Pembrokeshire Outdoor Charter Group are hosting an exciting event later this month to celebrate the diversity of wildlife we have on our doorstep in Pembrokeshire, and to raise awareness of the two projects. Wildlife Sights 2006 takes place on December 18 at the Merlin Theatre, Pembrokeshire College, Haverfordwest, from 7 until 10 pm. There will be specially prepared DVD footage from Sea Trust and the Skomer Marine Nature Reserve Team, with presentations from professional wildlife photographer Janet Baxter, naturalist Pete Brown, who is a lecturer at Pembrokeshire College, Bat Encounters St. David's, and Pembrokeshire Bird Group. There will be some local organic food and mulled wine, and the bar will be open. The event is free, and open to all, but booking is essential, as there are limited seats!
