Sir, In a recent edition of your newspaper you reported on a discussion by Tenby town councillors on the opening times of the South Beach toilets. I would like to politely ask why the North Beach toilets were not open on Boxing Day to accommodate the hundreds of people who were in the vicinity for the Boxing Day swim. My nine-year-old grandson joined in the swim and when we returned to our car in the car park by the new hospital we were dismayed to find the toilets locked, as did others who needed to use the facility - an urgent matter after a very cold swim! I am not sure where the responsibility for this lies, but it would be reassuring for swim participants and spectators to know that for next year this convenience would be available to them. With Tenby being a holiday resort, I would have thought that at Bank Holiday time at least, public conveniences would have been open. I welcome comments on this matter.
