Sir, So the Assembly Election campaigning has started. The three out of four candidates pictured in last week's Observer all seemed quite content in their familiar, safe territory, with an entourage to keep them safe. How many of these candidates will dare to leave their safe zone and venture out to meet the people face to face on the door-step, like their predecessors many years ago? Or will it all be stage managed 'electioneering', with censored questions and a loyal entourage to cheer them on. Who will try the door-step challenge?

Mr. I. Williams, Allans Court, Cold Blow, Narberth.
