A 'Work Wise' work fair has been arranged in Whitland when a variety of organisations will be available to provide information and guidance with regard to employment, skills and training opportunities.
There will also be an opportunity for attendees to speak to local employers about job opportunities they have, access to debt and benefit information and advice on networking.
Project officer, Kieran Griffiths, said: "Those present will include Workways, Careers Wales, Un Sir Gar and Jobcentre Plus, who will be there to assist you with any questions you may have with regard to working. The event is open to everyone aged 16 to 74; employed, unemployed, lone parents and school leavers."
RDP Sir Gâr's Innovative Communities, part of the Axis 4 Innovative Hubs scheme, has supported the event. Innovative Communities supports the trialling of new ideas that could benefit community life and is funded through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013 which is funded by Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
The 'Work Wise' fair will take place on Tuesday, between 10 am and 12.30 pm, at the Whitland Memorial Hall. Teas and coffees are provided, with free admission, and all welcome.
