A 23-year-old man was tragically killed in a road accident on the A40 at Pontyfenni, Whitland, during the early hours of Saturday morning. Only one vehicle was involved, with the driver of the vehicle receiving fatal injuries. He was later named by police as Jason Daniel Morgan from Carmarthen. The accident occurred at approximately 12.15 am and police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact PC1111 Jones at Carmarthen police station on 0845 330 2000.
