Christian Aid Week may have been a couple of weeks ago, but there's still one money- raising effort to go in Tenby.
This Sunday sees a special open air service at the harbour with stirring music from the ever-popular Salvation Army Brass Band. It celebrates Whit Sunday and will appeal to individuals or the whole family. Everyone is warmly welcome.
Four Tenby denominations come together for the event, which begins at 3 pm. They are Deer Park Baptists, St. Johns, the Salvation Army and St. Mary's.
Sue Bonser, treasurer to Tenby's Christian Aid committee, said: "Tenby's has just staged some very successful events which will help to save a few hungry children in developing countries. This service makes a fitting climax.
"The committee would like to thank everyone in Tenby and surrounding communities for supporting us so well this year. They can all be proud of themselves for raising so much money, especially in the recession."
The special open air service begins at 3 pm.
