Sir, On Saturday, May 17, one of our guests fell over in town. She was very sweetly helped by two gentlemen who helped stem the bleeding on the cut on her hand. They called an ambulance, but were told there would be a three-hour wait. They then decided to call a taxi to take Mrs. O'Donahue to our cottage hospital. Another passer-by very kindly paid for the taxi to take Mrs. O'Donahue to the hospital. On arrival at the hospital, they found that it was closed. In desperation for treatment for her injuries, Mrs. O'Donahue and her friend were then taken by the taxi to Boots Chemist, where they very kindly 'patched her up'. Mrs. O'Donahue would like to thank everyone who helped and very much appreciated their kind help with her injuries and shock. Mrs. O'Donahue was still in shock when she got back to the hotel, but with the kindness of her friends, cups of tea and plenty of ice for her eye from us, she was alright by the afternoon. What the rest of us would like to know is where do visitors to Tenby go for emergency treatment over the weekend? Has our wonderful NHS come to going to Boots Chemist on a Saturday or Sunday?
