On Saturday, February 3, at 7 pm, Rooms with a View Cinema will be screening the winter session of the Future Shorts Films in the Library Hall. It will be an interesting, entertaining and thought-provoking 90-minute programme of award-winning international short films, varying in length from four to 30 minutes, hand-picked from festivals around the world.
After viewing the films, the audience will vote and the result will feed into the international result.
More details on Future Shorts can be seen on their website http://www.futureshorts.com/
There is a £5 admission fee, payable on the door, and refreshments are available. The films are suitable for ages 15 and over and some films may contain infrequent strong language, dangerous behaviour and moderate sex references. Doors open 6.30 pm.

On Monday, February 19, we have Jo, the PAVS Community Connector, here from 10 am - 12 noon. Team leader Gwyneth Jones explains a bit more about the project: “This is an exciting project. We have four Community Connectors to cover four corners of Pembrokeshire. We can signpost appropriate referrals to third sector organisations and other services as swiftly as possible. We can also promote and encourage volunteering and participation in local neighbourhoods to encourage the setting up of community-based activities. By working out in the community, through GP surgeries, libraries, church and community halls, we can maintain up-to-date information on local organisations using online service directories such as infoengine and Dewis.”
Referrals can be made directly to [email protected]”
