Enthralling though it was to watch on TV, the Ironman cyclists struggling up ‘Heartbreak Hill’ in Saundersfoot, I was more intrigued, and worried, as well as being impressed by the ‘Irondog’ who had joined in the race with such enthusiasm.
The lovely little white dog was obviously enjoying himself as he seemed to be positively laughing as he raced alongside the cyclists. Obviously a young dog, he was full of energy as he joined in the race, determined to steal the show.
But I cannot stop worrying about him. How did he come to be loose on such a dangerous course? Were the owners sick with worry, wondering if he was lost?
I would be grateful to have my mind put at rest by knowing he was returned safely to his owners.Barbara Stredder,Marsh Road,Tenby.
