As a result of the recent spring-like sunshine and almost record-breaking February temperatures, attendance figures at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Begelly, have soared. With weather in parts of Wales warmer than Malaga, thousands flocked to see the farm's newborn animals and new attractions. Indeed, attendance for the February half-term this year has been consistently double that of previous years. A delighted Chris Ebsworth, Folly Farm's managing director, said: "This has been a fantastic start to our 20th anniversary year. "We have new attractions for visitors to see and enjoy, our pet centre has been buzzing with children hoping to see our new baby guinea pigs and rabbits, while elsewhere in the park crowds have been clamouring for a glimpse of our new baby Alpaca and we'll be seeing many new arrivals as the year goes on, plus some special birthday celebrations which are planned for later in the year. "This is great news for Pembrokeshire's tourist business as a whole and let's hope that it's a sign of a great summer to come."
