Tenby Junior School PTA would like to thank everyone who helped or contributed in any way to their event of the year, 'The Christmas Ball', on Friday, December 16, 2011.

As a result of the ball, a profit of £3,500 was realised towards the new school library which they are hoping to set up this year.

The evening was a great success and was a lovely way of bringing the whole community together. There were people from all walks of life, lots of different age groups and speaking to them since, they all claim to have had a wonderful time.

The De Valence looked stunning with its 'winter wonderland' makeover and the team of people who helped to make this transformation must be congratulated; the amount of effort everyone was willing to put in was wonderful.

The meal provided by Lorna from Alfrescos was beautiful.

This was followed by an auction and a raffle and then everyone danced the night away to local soul band, Horizontal Favours. What a perfect way to end the year.

Special thanks must go to Andrea Drury, for thinking up the whole idea and for her hard work and commitment, but without every single person who bought tickets and supported the PTA, and everyone who helped to put it together, this event would not have been anywhere near as special without you all.

Good luck for the Renaissence event that's coming up on February 18. It's lovely to see the De Valence being used in such a great way.
