When the HotRods come to town, West Wales Rock'n'Roll Club will be returning to one of their earlier venues at Llanmiloe Community Centre with an evening of Blues, Country and Rock'n'Roll music featuring one of the popular Welsh bands 'Glas'. Glas are a band with a wealth of experience at playing roots music, Blues, R&B, rock and roll, rockabilly and country music. This band has two very capable guitarists at the helm and a versatile and competent singer. The rhythm section is the through stone that ties the both sections of the band together. They have recently played at The 100 Club in London and have been rebooked to play again later this year. Last year, they performed approaching 150 gigs. Support music will be supplied by Jive Machine video DJ playing all the classics on the big screen. The evening - on Friday, June 27 - at Llanmiloe Community Centre will also feature vintage clothing supplied by Norma Jeans and there is a licensed bar at the adjoining Pendine Social Club, along with burgers and snacks supplied by the Beachside Snack Shack at very sensible prices. Tickets have been selling very well at £5 each, so if you would like to attend, please contact Martin and Teri as soon as possible on 01994 453220 or purchase tickets via the West Wales R'n'R Club website http://www.westwalesrocknrollclub.webs.com">www.westwalesrocknrollclub.webs.com. With plenty of Hot Rods about as well it promises to be a cracker!
