Members of the West Wales Masonic Province (Castlemartin Lodge and Loyal Welsh Lodge) were recently able to present a festive donation to the staff and patients of the South Pembrokeshire Hospital’s Cleddau River Day Unit.

Two cheques for £200 each, were awarded towards the Day Centre’s appeal for assistance to provide entertainment for patients during the festive season, as an apprectaion of the work that the centre and the staff provide

Both lodges appreciate the work that the unit and its staff provide, in helping those less fortunate and indeed assisting those relatives, of the patients to whom special care is extended to.

“We are all so grateful for the kind donation and we are extremely touched that nan and Dai Rees thought of us,” said Sister Sarah Davies, from the Cleddau River Day Unit, South Pembs Hospital

“All the money will be used to enhance patient care to ensure they have the best day possible when in the CRDU.

“We regulary book entertainers and purchase ‘treats’ which all patients enjoy. Anything that patients need we will endeavour to provide,” she added.
