Two players from Coleg Sir Gâr's rugby academy have gained places in the U19 Welsh squad. Lou Reed, aged 17, from Rhondda, and 18-year-old Lloyd Phillips, of Narberth, are both keen members of the rugby team at Coleg Sir Gâr and head of the rugby academy, Lee Tregoning, is extremely pleased with their performance. He said: "The rugby academy is delighted to continue its supply to the Welsh team for another year. It provides continuous evidence that the environment at the academy is producing players of extreme quality."
