As result of Pennar Community Church ladies' coffee morning last Tuesday, a very creditable £150 was raised for Christian Aid. Thanks to all who served, supplied and supported the event.

Next Tuesday the ladies are out to lunch at Anita's restaurant in town at 12.30 pm.

Also well subscribed last week was the new Springboard Adult Cookery Class which again meets this Wednesday in Bethany Hall at 12.30, with a warm welcome to all.

Church services on Sunday at 11 am and 6 pm will be led by Rev. Roger Hart.

In the community: Wednesday at 10 am, Little Angels Toddlers Group; Springboard Cookery Class at 12.30 pm; Rainbows and Brownies at 4 pm, whilst Fat Club completes the day by counting the calories at 7.15 pm.

Thursday at 8 pm, Rodgers Ranch Line Dancers will be jostling the joists and rattling the rafters.

A very warm welcome is guaranteed to any and all who go along to any of these activities.
