All this week, people have been holding prayer meetings, coffee mornings and other events. Members of Don Double's mission team have been knocking on doors and spreading the word...
Yes, the mission has started, but there is still time to be a part of the event. Anyone, regardless of faith, will be welcome at Pembroke Town Hall tonight (Friday) at 7.30 pm or at the same time tomorrow (Saturday) in Emmanuel Gospel Church. Don Double is based in the South West of England, but travels the world helping people find the answers to their questions.
Anne Double writes: "He has seen many people healed of deafness, arthritis, cancer, blindness, lameness, AIDS and many other ailments - he has seen people get out of their wheelchairs and walk. But it is not Don that does these things, it is Jesus. "Even in today's manic, often depressing world, Jesus is still interested in people and wants to help them in their everyday lives. Whatever your age, creed, colour, beliefs, He is interested in you, whether you believe it or not.
"Don has himself suffered with illness - when he was young he had TB and missed most of his early school days, thus leaving school unable to read or write. As of today he has written many books and travels all over the world sharing the Gospel of Jesus with anyone who will listen.
In the last few years he has been through cancer of the colon, his wife Heather has had breast cancer, amongst other things. They have suffered like we all suffer - yet Jesus is their answer and their hope. He can be yours too.
"We look forward to seeing you. Contact Jonathan Fiddy on 01834 871975 for further details."
