Readers have been sharing their videos and photos of the ‘electrical storm’ that took over the skies of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire on Monday night (August 11), with lightning lighting up the heavens above!

The main photo was taken by fourteen-year-old Bethany Rose of the incredible lilac lightning storm, at Cwm Gwennol, Saundersfoot.

“If you look closely, you'll see her twin sister, Seren, getting soaked to the bone as she stood in the pouring rain in her Haverfordwest AFC Academy county football kit!” said Vanya Rose who sent us the image.

Meanwhile, Mark Chennells took these slow-motion videos of the electrical storm in the seaside town of Tenby.
