Llanion Communities First, in conjunction with PAVS, are holding a Volunteer Day in the Pater Hall, Pembroke Dock, on Thursday March 15, from 12 - 3 pm. Everyone is welcome to go along, have a chat and a cup of tea, and find out more about what goes on in the local area.

The aim of the day is to get a wide variety of organisations together, to showcase the opportunities for volunteers in the Pembroke and Pembroke Dock area. The benefits to all of volunteering are well documented, and the event will be opened with a short talk from PAVS outlining these benefits.

It is an opportunity to inform and recruit community volunteers, and also an opportunity to network with other local organisations.

There will be over 30 organisations in attendance, covering interests such as charity work, health, heritage, environment, science, advice and support organisations - something for everybody!
