The members of the Tenby Visually Impaired People group spent a very happy afternoon on Tuesday of this week when they went on an afternoon trip to East Trewent Farmhouse, Freshwater East.
Approximately 20 members were transported by minibus and car and a delicious tea was provided by Peter and Pat and helpers Jo and Roy.
During the afternoon happy birthday was sung to Reg Peacock who was celebrating that day, and everyone enjoyed having a natter and sitting in the warm sunshine in pleasant surroundings.
Thanks were expressed to the hosts and also to Saundersfoot Rotary and Inner Wheel members, Don and Margaret Johns, who kindly helped with the transport.
Those going on the holiday to Teignmouth with project workers Elly and Tom were wished a happy time and will everyone please note that the next meeting will be on the second Tuesday, September 13, and secretary Margaret Walker will be sending out the usual tapes with details in due course.
