The December meeting of the Tenby Visually Impaired People Group took the form of a Christmas lunch at the Gower Hotel, Saundersfoot. Chairman, John Webb welcomed everyone, especially project workers Elly Morgan and Tom Forgaard and the ladies from Tenby and Saundersfoot Inner Wheels. Some 32 members and friends enjoyed a delicious lunch in convivial company. Following the meal, John Webb thanked Margaret Walker and Betty Gordon, secretary and treasurer, respectively, for all their hard work in arranging the lunch, and the Gower Hotel for such an excellent meal. He then presented project worker, Elly Morgan, with a leaving gift, with all good wishes for her forthcoming trip to Mongolia, saying that everyone looked forward to seeing her next July. The bumper raffle resulted in several members and friends winning prizes and closed with John wishing all present a happy Christmas and looking forward to seeing members for the annual general meeting on January 18.
