The village of St Florence recently held its second Swede Rolling competition over the festive period, with a magnificent £1,040 raised on the day.

“We raised an amazing £1,040 from everyone’s generosity and we cannot thank the community enough,” said a spokesperson for the Friends of St Florence School.

In first place for the men’s category was Dean ‘Spud’ Thomas; whilst in first place for the ladies was Jayne Joseph. Archie Llewelyn claimed top prize in the children’s category.
