On a glorious sunny morning, the Vikings, captained by James John, were again full of enthusiasm, but despite some excellent tackles by Philip, Dylan, Sam T. Ryan and Hugh, Narberth scored an early try.
The Vikings kept battling and tried to go forward, but just couldn't get past the well organised Narberth defence. Daniel, Curtis and Loui showed off their running skills on numerous occasions, but to no avail.
The Vikings got frustrated and sadly it resulted in two quick tries from Narberth 3-0 half time.
A quick drink break seemed to refresh the Vikings and some brave and strong tackling from Robert, Luke and James kept the Narberth attacks at bay, but it was Sam Ormond who was unluckiest of all not to score a try, going into touch before crossing the line.
All the Vikings worked endlessly in the second half, both in attack and defence and Narberth didn't cross the line again.
The Vikings were beaten, but not out played and are improving with every game, a credit to Mike, Craig and the two Peters who work tirelessly every Sunday morning with the boys.
