Damage was caused to a red vehicle parked near the play area at Newell Hill, Tenby, sometime between last Friday and Sunday.

The vehicle was scratched on its door and damage was caused to a wiper blade.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

A police spokesman said: "Officers have carried out inquiries at houses in the area and from speaking to residents, it appears that there are numerous complaints of rowdy behaviour from young children.

"Parents are reminded of their responsibility to control their children and are asked not to allow young children to ride push bikes unsupervised in the street.

"If damage is caused to a vehicle by children on push bikes, a claim could be pursued by the owner against parents to recover costs."

Anyone with information about the damage to the vehicle is asked to contact PC270 Terry Pugh at the town's police station on 101.
