Tenby town council are on the look out for a new member after the resignation of a former mayor.

Clr. Tony Brown, who held the position of mayor in 2019, stood down from his role on the town council last month.

Clr. Brown who had put his name forward to be mayor of Tenby again for the coming term, only to see current Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sam Skyrme-Blackhall reappointed following a secret ballot vote in February, first joined the town council in 2012, briefly leaving in between, before returning to the role in 2017.

A casual vacancy now exists for the office of councillor for the South Ward of Tenby town council, and any persons wishing to be considered for co-option, should apply in writing to the Town Clerk by Friday, April 15.
