Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild held a very successful spring coffee morning at Upton Castle, Cosheston, on May 20, by kind permission of the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Barlow.

A total of £670 was raised thanks to loyal support from local people and from further afield. It was lovely to see familiar faces at each event and extremely rewarding for the Guild, as they have great pleasure organising the day.

Mr. and Mrs. Barlow allowed the use of their marquee - an invaluable contribution - the ladies of the Guild donated raffle prizes and everything on the stalls, plants, shrubs, cakes and books. Bangeston Garden Centre and Tesco donated raffle prizes. The latest RNLI souvenirs were on sale also.

The Guild feel most fortunate to have held this event in such an outstanding venue and to have been so enthusistically supported by you all.
