May I by means of your paper extend a heartfelt thanks for the concert put on by NSPCC at Greenhill School recently.

To watch the stream of amateur talent that is all around us was absolutely uplifting. Did I say amateur? For the most part, it was far from an amateur performance and held together expertly by one Ruth Webb, our compere for the evening.

One hopes it was a profitable evening for the ladies of the NSPCC and an evening that must be repeated next year.
