The Seasiders slumped to a heavy defeat away to Cardigan in this Division Three West match, with the Teifisiders' outside-half Iestyn Crompton proving the man-of-the-match by notching up 24 points by himself.

Tenby were still in contention at the interval, with the score at 17-9 to the hosts.

Fly-half Tom Richards converted two penalties, while centre James Davies kicked another.

That was the end of the scoring, though, for the visitors, as Cardigan blitzed their old rivals in the second half, with skipper Dylan Davies and scrum-half Mike Diggle taking control of the game.

Outside-half Crompton gained his impressive points tally by crossing for two tries, and kicking five conversions and two penalties, while winger Dorian Butler, flanker Gethin Davies, centre Murphy, winger Wayne Parsons and replacement prop Gethin Jones also bagged themselves tries to take the Teifisiders beyond the 50-point mark.
