Peter Doran and James Williams - the creative team behind a string of panto hits and the recent smash hit musical 'Little Shop of Horrors' - have written and will direct a unique take on the familiar fairy story of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Set in Wild West Wales, the Christmas show will feature original songs written by James Williams, another fantastical set design by Sean Crowley and plenty of local references from Peter Doran, the Torch Theatre's artistic director.
The show will be full of familiar faces: Craig Rogan (Aladdin, Taking Steps, Blue Remembered Hill, Pinocchio, Conversation with a Cupboard Man) plays Jack, alongside Christian Patterson (Seymour - Little Shop of Horrors), Garry Lake (Orin Scrivello the Dentist and voice of Audrey II - Little Shop of Horrors) and Karin Diamond (Chiffon - Little Shop of Horrors).
Lee Mengo (who recently appeared in Steel Wasp Theatre Company's musical romp Moll Flanders at The Torch) makes his first appearance as a Torch Theatre Company member. Tonya Smith, who appeared in Hansel and Gretel as Pod back in 1997, returns to Milford Haven this Christmas to play the Princess.
