To commemorate the double celebration of Her Majesty The Queen's Golden Jubilee and the 600th anniversary of the granting of a Royal Charter to Tenby by Henry IV in 1402, Tenby Town Council have commissioned special loving cups.

The fine bone china loving cups, designed and produced by Rowland and Lou Evans, of Tenby-based Glyn Coch Designs, are a limited edition of just 500.

The town council have agreed that 250 of the loving cups will be distributed free, on a first come first served basis, to children aged between five and 11 whose parents are on the electoral roll of Tenby.

A special register has been set up at the town council offices in the De Valence Pavilion for names to be taken.

The register will be available from 9 am to 4 pm weekdays from today (Friday) and will close on May 3.

The loving cups will be distributed from the register at the De Valence Pavilion from 2 to 5 pm on Friday, May 10.

If you would like one, but do not have any children, a further 250 are available to buy, price £10 each, from the De Valence between 9 am and 4 pm weekdays as from today (Friday).
