Manorbier Village Hall is the venue for a display of unique art and craft by some members of the Pembrokeshire Craftmakers. On display over the Bank Holiday weekend will be work by landscape photographer Kersten Howard, who captures many views of our county, often at sunset. Lilian Barker will be showing her charming hand- made rag dolls - an affordable gift for any child - while hand-thrown pottery depicting the colourful stretch of our coastline will be displayed by Carol Brinton Thomas. The delicate individually made silver jewellery by Phillip and Helen, of Begenmed, will also be on show, as will unusual handcrafted handbags made from gorgeous fabrics by Dawn Beer of Ragzz Bags. There will also be unusual gifts from Gareth and Sally Rowlles, of the Magic Garden, bags, clothing and accessories made from suede and leather featuring original embroidered designs by Joy Owen, and irridescent crystal glazed pottery and jewellery by Mark and Patricia Welford. The Village Hall, in the centre of Manorbier, will be showing these crafts until Tuesday, May 29. The exhibition will be open all day, with one of the makers in attendance every day to explain their work.
