I can fully sympathise with the trauma experienced by Mr. Winstone (Observer, December 22 ) and to a lesser extent understand his need to lash out at someone/something.

However I do feel the it was most unfair and unnecessary to publicly denigrate a CEO who was merely carrying out their duty in a proper manner.

Without the CEOs, the streets of Tenby would be in almost permanent gridlock, so I may take this opportunity to wish the CEOs in Tenby a Happy New Year - well until I get my next parking ticket at least !
