Pembroke Octopush Club have been congratulated by their governing body for their superior fund- raising. Amongst all the UK clubs and teams, Pembroke raised the most towards the £7,000 total, bringing in over £1,500. On March 12, 24 club members, juniors and seniors, completed the mile underwater. Each relay team of three guided their hockey pucks along the length of Pembroke Swimming Pool for over 80 lengths to complete the challenge. The money raised will help to improve the lives of many under-privileged people throughout the world. The club is very proud to have raised so much for such a good cause and sincerely thanks all of the many parents, relatives, friends and colleagues who have contributed and made this happen.

Pembroke Octopush Juniors: Siana Wilson, Eleanor Powell, Cethin Ravenhill, Sarah Hay, Jessica Mills, Jasmine Armstrong, Bethan and Hywel Davies, Lucy Pratty, Jessica Miller, Laura Collins, Amy Heath.
