Local runners are 'ready, set, go' for this year's Tenby 10K race which will take place on Sunday, July 29, at 11 am. Generously sponsored by Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire, the popular annual race is organised by the TROT Running Club, with support on the day from Tenby Leisure Centre on Marsh Road, where the race route starts and finishes. T-shirts and medals will be presented to all finishers, as well as prizes for various age group categories and teams. Children's fun races will also take place on the Clicketts Playing Fields from 10 am. These are open to all children who are between the ages of eight and 14 on the day. Be sure to include your race fee and an SAE, and apply in plenty of time. Fees are £6 attached (for members of an affiliated running club) and £7 unattached. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories - Open Female and Open Male; Veteran Female F35 (35-44) and F45 (45+); Veteran Male M40 (40-49) and M50 (50+); Male club team and Female club team; First Business team. Marshalls will be present at all key stages of the routes. Please follow their instructions at all times.
