Tenby Walled Town Residents Association have invited Tenby Town Council to appoint one or more councillors as representatives on their committee. At Tuesday night's meeting of the council, Clrs. Mike Evans and Mrs. Caroline Thomas agreed to be representatives.
"I think that it's important that we encourage more residents groups to form and then liaise with the town council over issues," commented Clr. Mrs. Thomas.
Clr. Evans was keen to see TWTRA and the town council form a united front and work together from time to time.
"It's important that in the future the town council is proactive in looking forward to making our own schemes work for the town," he said.
