The Mayor of Pembroke, Clr. Mary Rose Blackburn, recently welcomed the Pembroke St. Andrew Scout Troop from Pembroke, Malta to Pembroke Town Hall. They had a tour of the hall and attended a reception there. Later that day, they attended a reception at the Pater Hall in Pembroke Dock and were welcomed by the Mayor, Clr. Sue Perkins. Both Mayors, on behalf of Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Town Councils, presented gifts to mark the visit. Both towns are jointly twinned with Pembroke in Malta. The Scouts all reside in the Pembroke area in Malta. Clr. Joe Zammit, Mayor of Pembroke, Malta, Clr. Ray Pace, who is a Scout leader, and Clr. Alfred Mazzitelli were also in the official group visiting.
