A major road reconstruction of Tenby's Tudor Square will start after the half-term holiday.

The work is part of the 'Tudor Square Enhancement' programme.

The Pembrokeshire County Council scheme involves the construction - using high quality materials - of a new layout of the carriageway and footway within the Square.

From Monday, traffic lights will be in use to control the flow of traffic through the square, while parking will be restricted.

The highway reconstruction work is expected to take two to three weeks, although enhancement work will continue into December.

Work will cease for the Christmas period, before starting again in January. It is expected the programme will be completed by May.
